In accordance with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 27 April 2016 (hereinafter, GDPR) and with the rest of the legislation applicable in Spain in the area of personal data protection, we inform:

II. Purposes and legal basis of the processing:

  1. Performance and fulfilment of the contractual relationship that you establish or have with THE FIRM. Legal basis of authentication: Performance of Contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  2. Complying with the legal obligations derived from the aforementioned contractual relationship. Legal basis of authentication: Fulfilment of Legal Obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).
  3. Managing the commercial relationship established with THE FIRM, including sending commercial information by any means, including electronically, about services similar to those hired originally. Legal basis of authentication: Consent and Legitimate Interest (Art 6.1.f. GDPR).
  4. Sending information that has been requested, managing and rendering the services you have decided to subscribe to or register for. Legal basis of authentication: Consent of the Interested Party (Art. 6.1.a. GDPR).
  5. Processing and assessing any applications or CVs that you voluntarily submit to us, in the context of the various selection processes that THE FIRM may organise. Legal basis of authentication: Consent of the Interested Party (Art. 6.1.a. GDPR).

III. Origin of the data: the interested party or his/her legal representative.

IV. Mandatory or voluntary nature of the data requested: The data which, where appropriate, are marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory. Refusal to supply said information shall impede communication with the interested party and, where appropriate, will make it impossible to provide him/her with the requested information and/or service. The Interested Party shall, in any case, be responsible for the veracity of the data provided.

V. Data retention: The data collected shall be retained for as long as it is necessary in order to achieve the purposes for which they were collected, for the duration of the contractual relationship or for as long as it is necessary in order to deal with the request for information or contact. Upon termination of the contractual relationship, the data shall be retained for the period of limitation of actions for damages that may derive therefrom.

The personal data obtained through your application for employment and CV shall be retained for a maximum of one year.

In the event that you give your consent to be sent information, news or commercial communications, the data shall be retained indefinitely as long as the interested party does not withdraw his/her consent or unsubscribe.

VI. Communication of data: Under no circumstances shall your data be transferred or communicated to third parties, unless required by law; nor shall said data be transferred internationally, unless expressly authorised by the data subject after having provided information on the possible recipients, the purpose of the data transfer and, where appropriate, destination country and security guarantees.

VII. Duty of secrecy: THE FIRM, as the data controller, strictly complies with the duty of secrecy and confidentiality concerning personal data and has therefore implemented the appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent their alteration, loss, unauthorised processing and/or access by third parties, based on the current state of the art, the nature of the stored data and the risks to which they are exposed, according to the RGDP.

VIII. Rights enjoyed by the interested party:

  1. You may exercise your right to access, rectify, erase, object and restrict the processing of your data, as well as your right to data portability and to not be subject to automated individualised decisions, by writing to LIFE Abogados S.L.P., C/ Velázquez nº 78, 1º 28001 Madrid, Spain or to the email address, indicating the purpose of the request, and attaching your ID Card or passport for identification purposes.
  2. To file a claim to the Supervisory Authority: if the user believes that we are not making fair use of his/her data, and THE FIRM has not dealt with this issue, he/she may file a claim to the relevant Data Protection Authority, the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) being the relevant agency in our country.
  3. In the event that you receive newsletters, information or commercial communications by electronic means, according to the Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce Spanish Act (LSSICE), you may withdraw your consent, unsubscribe or modify your data and preferences by using the same means via email at or by using the link you can find at the bottom of each communication you receive.

IX. Amendment to the Privacy Policy: THE FIRM may amend its Privacy Policy, in accordance with the applicable legislation as amended from time to time and the processing that is carried out; you shall be notified accordingly.
