At LIFE ABOGADOS we are aware of the increasing importance of Third Sector entities in both the Spanish and European societies as a mechanism to meet the challenges of the new socio-demographic, thechnological and economic context which has developed over the last few years.

The Foundations, Associations, Federations, NGOs and Special Employment Centres (CEE), among others, play a pivotal role in the efficient management of public resources. They are aimed at becoming one of the main suppliers of public services –particularly those related to social services and medical research– by helping the Public Administrations to enhance social welfare.  

Changes in both national and European regulations create a positive environment for the design of more solid and stable partnerships models between the Administrations and the Third Sector regarding the provision of services. In order to achieve this goal, these entities also need to make progress in their organisation and management models.

Third Sector entities need to evolve at the same pace as society and return the support they have received over the last few years. In this regard, citizen participation is already at 24 %.
